A couple co-workers and i wrote this for another blog, but i liked it enough that i think it deserves a spot here.

Here’s the Top 10 list of things that could come out of a Yahoo!-Google partnership:

10. John McCain will choose Yahoogle! as his running-mate. He will come in a close second to the Obama-Apple ticket.

Remember instant messaging? It was right around the time of the chatroom (R.I.P.) and the guestbook, right before text messaging and networking sites. Of course you do. In fact, I’m sure a lot of you still use it, i do.

Occasionally, however, you mean to say something to one person, and you accidentally say it to another, and it’s either a huge mistake (like telling your friend you are thinking about breaking up with your girlfriend, but accidentally sending that to your gf) or, its just plain funny.

Er… Uh… 1 movie! Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight is a seemingly underground phenomenon that is sweeping the Nation. You may not know about it, but you should and here’s why:

All 3 of the books in the series (4th to come out August 2) have been and still are on the top of the bestseller list.
The first book is being made into a movie which comes out this December
People are already comparing it to the success of Harry Potter, and more than likely, this series will be almost-if-not-equally as big
Forums, blogs, and myspace profiles number in the hundreds of thousands of users/friends

… is that it’s probably the funniest movie of the year. I got a pre-release screening hookup and i saw it last night with a friend. The best part, though, was knowing that everyone in that theater was a freakin pothead. Even the 60-year-old virgin in the bathroom who told me he’s gotta stop smoking weed.

Im not going to give any spoilers or anything, but i am going to post a clip:

8 reasons to use public transportation!

At least it seems that way when you look at the pictures. This is the type of people-watching entertainment that makes driving a car seem like a waste of time. In fact i think i heard that people-watching has just become the #1 reason people use public transportation… beating out #2, expensive gas prices, and #3, having no other way to get around.

So here are 8 reasons you should use public transportation instead of driving to work yourself:

1. Everybody’s doing it! At least in Japan.

2. Clothing optional. With public transportation, you don’t even have to get dressed.

3. Anybody can use public transportation. Even if you are creepy.

4. Sleeping arrangements. If you need a little snooze time, go for it.

5. Polar bears are welcome. That goes for pretty much any exotic animal as well.

6. Insurance. You get to see the goods before you buy it.

7. Famous people use it. I think this is the “sex guy“.

8. Retards. Bunk beds… You’re doing it wrong.
